My poem was about a game called the forest It's a really fun game that I allway's play with one of my friends I chose the forest because it was a fun game and because there is so much in it so I new it would be easy to write about. We didn't do any normal poem we had to do a Haiku a Haiku is a type of poem were you have to follow a certain structure of 5 syllables, 7 syllables and then 5 syllables and you can only have 3 lines and thats how a Haiku works. I really liked how my poem turned out and I hope we get to do this again. Blog you later Bye!

Unveiling

The Unveiling

At the start of the week we had an unveiling ceremony. The unveiling was the first time we got to sing our school song in front of a crowd. It was very exciting we all got sheets of paper to read of to know what to sing we had to sit down and wait for the parents and teachers to arrive we gathered around our new School garden and friendship bench and then we started to sing once we finished singing the principle did a speech. After the opening of the garden we went to the fence by the play ground we had to make cultural people to put up on the fence each person represented a culture in the school. The cultural people had sheets over them so it would be more of a surprise. Then one by one each class pulled of the sheet covering the one that they made . But the problem with having a sheet over it is that you don't know which one is yours like one class took of the sheet for our one. Then after all of them were unveiled we went back to class.

Trip to New World

Super Market Trip

Hi bloggers these last few days we have been learning about what we should and shouldn't eat because we have been learning about healthy food. we were learning about lot's of different  vitamins and minerals once we finished learning about what food is good for you and what food is not good for you then we got to go on a trip to the supermarket. We split into groups and went in the teachers and parents cars. When we arrived at the supermarket we all met up just outside the door. We split-off with sheets of paper we had to fill in different categories on the paper we had to find one unhealthy food and then the healthy option for it. Then we had to turn a sheet of paper around and do the other side on the other side we had to find lots of different fruits and  vegetables that are different colours we had to find as much fruits and vegetables as possible and write them in the coloured categories.

Once we all finished we met outside back at the door. Before we left we had a talk about all the different things we got to do and the stuff we wrote down and after the torque we all got free lunch boxes. Then we went back to school and continue with the day.

Film Festival

Film Festival 

In term two we got to choose if we wanted to do film festival or technology and I chose film festival in Film Festival we had to make a group and try to make a film based on the theme of Heroes. Weeks went past we had to work really hard on these films once we were finished we would put them all together and see which ones were the best we did this with a few different schools then the teachers came together to show the other schools there films and then they decided which ones were the best. We got to use a cinema and screen all our different films but only the people that made the chosen films got to go.

I think the films all came out really good and I hope you think my film is good here it is.

Futsal

Futsal

This week we started playing a game called Futsal we got to o dribbling but not the dribbling you do in basketball when you dribble in Futsal you are kicking the ball right in front of you and its were you have controll of the ball. after we learnt to dribble we goand onto the other foot to play a game. When the instructor said to stop we had to put are foot on the ball and when he said to that in a group of whatever number he said we had to kick the ball to our group. After the game was over we went outside, while were outside we had to try kick the ball up in the air and onto the other foot. Then we went back inside and played a number game so when the instrcutor called out your number you had to try get a goal but I couldn't play because my knee was injured. but it was still fun blog you later Bye!

Cross country

Cross Country

On Wednsday the 11th of september we had a school cross country. In the cross-country we had four different things we needed to do and once we completed each task we got a letter on our arm like S for skipping or K for kicking. Up first for my group we just got to just chill out and eat cake/brownies and ice blocks the group's went in year groups so I was in the year 5's. After chilling out we got to go to the soccer goals we all got turns scoring in different goals there were big soccer goals and small soccer goals we had to get a certain amount of goals to go to the next activity the next activity was skipping. Skipping was pretty simple because all we had to do was grab a rope and start skipping. after a bit of skipping we went to the obstacle course we had to race each other. The obstacle course was pretty hard but fun we had to do the obstacle course on the playground after climbing and racing it was time for the second to last activity.

The second to last activity was cheering and doing exercises. We had to cheer on everyone that went past us it was really fun and we also had to practice for the run and that was my least favourite part of cross country but I had to do it anyway. The boys went lined up at the starting line and then we were off we were all running as fast as we could I was in last most of a race we had to do at least two laps I came second to last but that was alright I was just happy I finished the race. Also I would say my favourite activity was the obstacle course. Blog you later Bye!

The story of the century😎

My Amazing Narrative

for writing we had to write a story about our holiday but we had to change it up a bit we had to turn it into a narrative we had to write our holiday as a fairy tale. and my story is bit over extradited but that's what I think is good about it. In my story its about me going ice skating in Antarctica but in real life I just went ice skating hope you like my story Bye.

Ice skating 

“Aidan! WAKE UP you’re gonna be late for holiday program” said mum. “Ok mum where am I going today,” said Aidan. “oh ice skating” said mum. “oh come on!” said Aidan.

Today I have to go to holiday program but I don't know why I can’t just go to one of my friends' houses. hopefully I'll at least have some fun at ice skating I’m not sure which ice skating rink we're all going to but I no it's gonna be cold now that I'm at holiday program I get on the van and go to the ice skating rink. where finally here but we aren't in an ice skating rink where in Antarctica and the only reason I know that is because I brought my phone with me just encase I got bored so I checked where we were on google maps. we get out of the van find somewhere to sit and then we check our shoe size and put on some ice skating shoes. I started skating i’m not very good but i tried and failed I had to hold onto the side of the mountain but I kept on falling onto the ice.

After a while I gave up then I went to explore instead of playing on my phone  because I was getting bored watching everyone but then I found a penguin so he kept me company. We played and had fun but then the holiday program people could see me with the penguin and told me to put him back where I found him. So then I had to sit down and watch I got really bored but then…

A GIANT polar bear came running over the mountain tops and crashed into the ice. The ice started to crack and everyone fell into the water under the ice, they all had to swim onto the rocky edge of the mountain then run into the van we almost got out of the polar bears reach then it ripped open the back of the van. We slipped down a hill of snow and got out of his reach then we were all celebrating in the small remains of the van. So then we had to get a tow truck and the guy in the tow truck asked what happened so we told him we were attacked by a polar bear but he didn’t believe us. 

But anyway, after that I got back home and snuck my penguin back with me. I did have a feeling it was my fault the polar bear attacked because I took the penguin but I don't think the penguin liked him anyway. When I told my mum what happened she didn’t believe me either she thought the penguin was a stuffed toy. I got pretty bored but then last time a got bored I was almost killed by a polar bear anyway I just jumped up onto the couch and started to play some games on the ps4. And my penguin bites my hand and waddles away with the controller just when I think I can finally relax so then I have to go chase a penguin around the house then he runs into the lounge hops onto the couch and starts playing my games and somehow he won. 

And so the moral of the story is don't steal and never let a penguin on your PlayStation it may be good he gets the world record on all of your games. But then you will have absolutely nothing to play because he’s beaten the hole game. Then after all of that I obviously never wanted to go back to holiday program ever again so my mum finally let me go to my friends house instead and show of all of my wins that my penguin actually got so i'm just happy penguins don't speak English because if they did he would give away that he got all of those wins. Well at least I don’t have to go to holiday program anymore and now I can beat all my friends on my PlayStation now. Anyway, after I go to my friends house I go home and get back on the PS4 and play with my friend Atreyu and then as soon as I join him I suddenly teleport into a game and the game said to me you are in the game phoenix mountain you will be joining Atreyu very soon…

“Oh come on not again I thought the adventure was over,” said Aidan

“Hi Aidan” said Atreyu. “5 4 3 2 1” said the game “Aaaaaaa! Oww I hit my head” said Aidan "Atreyu help me there's a dragon" said Aidan "um I think I was Just eaten HELP!"
